The World Health Organization (WHO) has noted that mental health disorders are higher in urban areas,
with depression, anxiety, and substance abuse disorders being particularly prevalent.
what can we do about this ?
plants!
keeping indoor plants can…

30% reduced in cold-related illness
why won't people keep plants at home?
limited space in apartment
limited time due to fast paced life
not enough knowledge about plants
bringing the outside in…
after that I narrowed it down to 3 main ideas: a smart indoor farm, furniture with plants and a smart seed pot.
form studies: playing with shapes and curves to find a final shape for seedling. i finally chose the most universal shape that are able to grow most of the plants.
prototyping
quick laser cutted MDF in order to figure out the right sizing.
3d printed with FDM, primered & sanded to 400 grid.
spray with super glue to get the rough texture, then paint it with spray paint.
